Family Calendar is a private application built for one household. It is not offered to the public, does not have a signup flow, and access is limited to the specific Google accounts the household owner has linked.

What data we access

When a household member signs in with Google, the app requests access to their name, email address, and Google Calendar (read and write) for the sole purpose of displaying and managing that person's calendar events within the app. We also store which family members are attending each event.

How data is used

Calendar data is used only to display a shared family schedule to the household and to create, edit, or delete events on a member's behalf when they use the app to do so. Data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose outside running this app.

Data storage

Event attendance and display preferences are stored in a private database used only by this app. Google account credentials are stored solely as OAuth tokens needed to access Google Calendar on the member's behalf, and can be revoked at any time from a Google Account's third-party access settings.
